As many of you might know, Marilyn Monroe's Brentwood home has just been put on the market for 3.6 million. Although I would never purchase a home that someone (famous or not) has died in, I do think it's a lovely home. I like how understated and simple it is. I love how the color white is used repeatedly throughout which is indicative of Spanish style homes. It's relatively small in size (2,624 square feet) by movie star standards but pretty nonetheless. Marilyn's lovely home is located in the Helenas which is one of Brentwood's most romantic and coveted locations. Although this property has switched hands several times, the condition of the home and grounds remain impeccable.
What do you think of her place?
I know it needs some updates, a few touch ups, and some new furniture- but I really love this home. Sadly, Marilyn was only able to enjoy it for six months before she passed away.
